Meet Maryellen!

A girl in a candy stripe dress with strawberry blonde hair made her way up the stairs.

She was very excited, because today, she was meeting her new family!

I wonder what they'll be like? How many sisters will I have?

Meanwhile, everyone was upstairs, talking about their new sister.

"If she doesn't come soon, I'm going to get her myself!", said Lanie.

"Just wait a few more days. I'm sure she'll be here soon.", replied Grace with a smile.

The new girl peeked around the corner at her new family. She thought they looked nice, so she decided to walk in.

"Hello! I'm your new sister Maryellen!"
Everyone was so excited! Maryellen was finally here!

"OH MY GOODNESS!!! You're here! I can't believe it! We're going to be sisters!", screamed Lanie, trying to say everything at once. "I know! I'm so excited!"

"First, let me introduce myself. I am Maryellen Larkin, and I love to do things in my own special way. I like to stand out from the crowd and be different." Hello!", said all the dolls. Then the girls introduced themselves.

"This is your new room, Maryellen.", said Lanie pointing to the the bed and the wall.

Maryellen was in shock.
They made all of this for me? This is amazing! I'm speechless...

Maryellen sat on her bed. She opened her card and held the bouquet of roses that Lanie gave to her.
"Thank you all so much! I don't know what to say! I was a little nervous coming here at first. I've heard stories about dolls that go to families that only play with them once and then they're left on the shelf forever, but I'm so glad that you guys aren't like that."

"Mom would never do that.", said Kaya. "She plays with us all the time! It's a lot of fun."

"Really? That's the kind of mom I've been dreaming about!"

"I'm sure you'll like it here, Maryellen. We're glad to have you as our sister!", exclaimed Grace.

"Awwww, thanks everyone! I'm so excited and I can't wait for my new life to begin!"

THE END!

Maryellen actually came in on Thursday, but my sisters and I have been so busy playing that I haven't had time to post! Sorry about the blurry photos. We were so excited! :D Maryellen is a beautiful doll and I'm very blessed to have her. I would like to thank my Mom for surprising my sisters and I with her. You're the best Mom and I love you!

Stay tuned for a review on Maryellen!

Bonus Photos!
Maryellen came with her accessories and her first book. I'm almost done with it, so you can be sure that a review is on it's way!

After I finished taking photos, I wanted to take down Maryellen's hair. It was super curly after I curled it. I'm hoping to get Maryellen's hairstyling set. :)

Isn't it gorgeous?! The color is amazing. :)

Maryellen's New Room Part 3

Maryellen still hasn't arrived yet! My mom called American Girl and they said that she should be here on Thursday. All of the dolls are ready for her to get here, especially Lanie. :) We have finished Maryellen's room and we wanted to show it to everyone!

First, we have the cute purple shelf that I made out of Popsicle sticks!

Next, a paper heart poster that says "Maryellen."

And last, a picture of Scooter! I made the frame and colored the picture. It's really not that dark, the camera just took it that way. :) Thank you American Girl Doll Artist for the idea!

The dolls and I made her a little card.

The inside says, "Welcome Maryellen! Dear Maryellen, Welcome to your new home! We love you! Love, Mom and the Dolls."

"Ohhhh! When will she be here?"

DollBaker24 has been getting her dollhouse ready for Maryellen too! Let's take a look.

She has some new bedding from her old baby doll crib. I love all the pink!

I made her a little shelf and she painted it yellow. On the shelf is a journal, a pencil, a cup of hot cocoa and 1 s'more, and a homemade pinwheel.

DollBaker24 made a picture of Maryellen in a frame. The lamp is from the dollar store and the cute panda came with McKenna.

Now, let's take a look at DollPandaLover's house!

She has a cute picture of Maryellen in her meet outfit along with some other little things that Maryellen will enjoy. :)

DollPandaLover has a yellow shelf too! There's a magazine, camera and tissue box on it.

She has some pictures of Maryellen on the wall.

So, did you like all of the dollhouses? I'm sure all of the Maryellen dolls will love their new home! Thank you for sharing your ideas on dollhouse decorations, everyone! It really helped. :)

My sisters and I were all playing Doll Theatre yesterday. It was so much fun! Lanie did a few retro dances using music form Maryellen's TV Console App. :)

My Dollhouse- Maryellen's New Room 2

This is the second post about Maryellen's new room. I have made something new for her that can go on the walls!

A purple shelf! Isn't it cute? I made it out of large Popsicle sticks.

She can put her little accessories and other things on there. Do you like it? Any ideas on what to make next?

My Dollhouse- Maryellen's New Room

Hi everyone! I need your help. The dolls and I have been getting the house ready for Maryellen, but we still can't decide what to do. Here's what we have so far...

DollPandaLover let me borrow some old OG bedding in return for the Dreamy Daybed Bedding. I think it looks really retro, do you?

Maryellen gets 1 and half wall for herself. The problem is, we can't think of any decorations.
If you have any suggestions, we'd really appreciate it.

I'm thinking about moving 1 chair and the mini table around so Maryellen has room for her things. What do you think I should do? She's going to be here soon, so we need to hurry and finish this! ;)

Sneak Peek- Maryellen's Living Room Set

AG has given us another sneak peek! It seems to be that Maryellen's TV and Living Room Table are called her Living Room Set. Maybe they will be sold together!
I'm clearing out the left side of my dollhouse so I can make Maryellen her own little space. Lanie will still have her side. I do have one idea for my dolls that can't sleep in the dollhouse. I'm going to make them a room out of a large cardboard box. I'll cover it will paper and make it look it cute! What do think? Should I do it? I need help deciding!

Lanie's Doll House Tour

Hi everyone! Today, I am going to give you a tour of my dollhouse. Lanie is going to help me. My amazing grandpa built it for me and I recieved it on Christmas last year.

Hello! I'm Lanie, and I am going to give you a tour of my home

This is our kitchen table. Millie is enjoying enjoying a sweet snack!

This is our kitchen. Grace likes to call it "her" kitchen, but it really belongs to everybody.

Kaya is in our schoolroom. All of my doll sisters are homeschooled. It's really fun!
What are you drawing, Kaya?
"It's a puppy. Do you like it?"
Yes, kaya. It's very pretty!
Next is the second floor of our beautiful house. This is a bed. It looks like McKenna is taking a nap. We better not disturb her. :)

Kit is sitting in the gray chair.
"Hi! I'm playing with Grace!"

Isabelle is sitting in our white chair.
"Hello! I just finished reading the latest issue of Doll Friends! It's a great magazine!"

This is our mini table. It holds all of our toys, snacks, and books.

And finally, we have my beautiful bed! I'm the only doll who is allowed to sleep in this bed because it is mine. Mom won't let any of my sisters sleep in it.

Well, that's our house! I hope you enjoyed my tour!

Lanie did a great job, don't you think?
All of the dolls love their pretty home!
