Review - Grace's Travel Keepsake Case

Earlier this week, we stopped by Michael's craft store to get some clay and something for our vacation. My mom let us all pick out something, so I chose this adorable Grace Travel Case! It's time for a review!

I think it cost $20? Sorry, I don't remember...

This is the design on the front of the case. So cute! The hearts are perfect.

Back of the case.

The top has a black handle and some kind of thing that closes it.

Inside, it comes with quite a few things!

This case has a lot of room in it! You could use it to pack doll clothes and accessories. It can easily hold 3 or more outfits along with accessories and shoes.

So many cute stickers!

Included is 4 sticker sheets, passport book pages, 1 envelope.

The 2 sticker sheets are very cute! There are even some for your dolls travel case.

A passport is included, but you have to put it together.

A doll size travel case! It's perfect if you want your doll to match.

Grace has plenty of room for her clothes and shoes!

Overall, it's a very nice travel case. The colors and design are great and it comes with a lot of things!
I rate this 4 out of 5 stars!

Review - Maryellen's Accessories

My Mom bought Maryellen's accessories with the doll. I think we saved $5... :) Now, I'm going to do a review on them!

This set is priced at $24. I think it's worth $16. :)

First, we have the necklace. It is elastic and has a clasp like Grace's charm bracelet.

The necklace was actually very easy to get on the doll. I love the pearls!

There is a pearl bracelet to match the necklace. It's a slip-on bracelet made with elastic. There is not a clasp.

Maryellen's white gloves are made out of a soft material. There is lace on the ends and a small silk bow. One glove is extremely hard to get on, but the other fits fine. My sisters have the same problem with their gloves.

Last, we have her purse! The purse is made out of a stretchy fabric and has a knit pattern on it. It doesn't button or Velcro together, so be careful or her accessories might fall out! ;) The handle can be a challenge to get on her hand.

Overall, It's a cute set! I think the gloves and purse could have been made better.

I rate this 4 out of 5 stars!

Review - American Girl Maryellen Doll

Hi everyone! Today I'm reviewing American Girl's 18 inch Maryellen Doll! Let's get started.

Maryellen is a beautiful doll! I think her hair is one of her best features.

It's strawberry blond and very silky. At first, I was worried that her bangs would flip out and up like Grace's, but they don't. :)

Look how pretty and curly her ponytail is!

Maryellen comes with her hair in a high ponytail. It's secured with a clear rubber band, and then her blue hair bow is put around it.

Next, let's take look at her face. She has peachy skin with soft-colored lips. To me, her eyes are a very dark green, but AG says that they're hazel. Maryellen has feathery strawberry blonde eyebrows.

I was surprised when I first saw her neck. It's a little loose, unlike Grace's neck. Grace arrived in the mail too, but her neck was extremely tight.

Maryellen's dress is ADORABLE! It has pink, blue, and white stripes.

There are tiny ribbons that go around the waist and the top of the dress.

There is Velcro in the back.

Maryellen also arrives in a short sweater. It has a M monogrammed on it.

Super cute shoes! They're T strap and Velcro on the side.

My Maryellen doll has a rough hand. It feels like sandpaper. The other hand does not. But I guess that makes her special. :)

I love Maryellen! She looks so sweet and cute. I'm very blessed to have her.

I rate Maryellen 5 out of 5 stars!

Do you have Maryellen? We would love to see photos of her! You can send them to me americangirldollcrafter@gmail.com.

A review on her accessories will be posted soon!

App Review- Maryellen TV Console

Tonight, I shall be reviewing AG's free Maryellen TV Console! Let's get started.

First, I just LOVE this little game! It's adorable and fun.

You can make mini movies, or just enjoy the super-cute ones that AG already has on there.

If you want to make a movie, you can chose from 5 different themes, music, and titles and more!

You can also listen to different 50's songs. (I like Let's Stroll best!)

If you have Maryellen's TV, you can put your iPad in the back and let it play the videos on the app. How cool is that?! I'm definitely getting her TV now!

The only thing my sisters and I don't like about this app is that you have to pause the video before you can save it. We had to re-do several videos because of that.

Overall, this app is great! I just love it and the best part is.... It's free! I would recommend for you to download it as soon as you can. I rate Maryellen TV Console 4.5 out of 5 stars. :)

Maryellen's App- TV Console

Maryellen's app is already available! It's called TV console. It looks like you can make movies and watch some. I'm downloading it as soon as I can. Why? Because it's free and I love Maryellen!

Review- Grace's Baking Outfit

Hi everyone! I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything today. My cousins are spending the week with us and it's been really busy. :)

I am reviewing Grace's Baking Outfit.

This is a photo of the whole set.

First, let's start with the headband! It fits nicely and has a silky feeling. There is little knot on the top.
The shirt has little cupcakes on it. This is my favorite!
I don't know if these are pants or leggings. They're a little tight.
The shoes are very cute! A black bow is attatched to them.
Next we have the apron. It's adorable, but very hard to get on. There are two pink bows on the straps that Velcro in the back.
These are the details on the apron.
Well, that's the outfit! It's very cute and I think it's worth the price of $34.00. The only thing I don't really like is how hard it is to get the apron on. Otherwise, it's great! I rate this 4.5 out of 5 stars.

My First Post

This is my first post. It may take me a little while to get everything set up, but I'm excited to start posting!

I started this doll blog because I love my dolls, and I love to make stuff for them! I enjoy playing dolls with my sisters, and we always go on fun adventures together! :)

What kind of posts will I do?

1. Doll photo of the month
Each month, I will have a different photo of a doll. People can use the photo as a wallpaper or they can post it on their blog. But they have to tell where they got it from - my blog!

2. Crafts
I will post crafts on my blog. There will be 1-3 crafts a week depending on what I make.

3. Photo shoots
I will take different dolls on photo shoots.

4. Reviews
I will do reviews on my doll stuff, American Girl, and Our Generation.

5. Giveaways
I will do giveaways on homemade and store bought items. If you're under 18, you must have a parent's permission to enter.

6. Stories
I will have stories on dolls and stories on doll pets.

7. News
I will do my best to provide info about doll items - new clothes, new furniture, new dolls, etc.

8. Artwork
I will post my doll artwork and drawings. Fans are allowed to send in their artwork, but there is no guarantee that it will be posted. If the drawing fits the artwork guidelines, it will be posted.
Artwork Guidelines:

  1. Your picture must be about dolls or doll related things.
  2. Your picture must be drawn by you. If I find it on the internet or another doll blog, I will remove it from my blog.
  3. Have fun and be creative! :)

9. Doll interviews
After something new happens in the doll world, we will get the doll's opinions of it!
