Craft- How to make Doll Cotton Candy

Hi everyone! Today, I wanted to show you how to make doll cotton candy. I'm making mine in a bag, but Small Dolls in a Big World (A really awesome blog!) has a great craft on how to make it on a stick. You can view her craft with this link... Craft: Make Doll Cotton Candy. This what you'll need

Materials:
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Scissors
  • Pink or blue marker
  • A cotton ball
  • 7in. String of  yarn

1. Take your cotton ball and color it pink or blue. Try to color the same way as the fluff of the cotton.

2. Lay your cotton candy on your plastic wrap. Then, cover it up. It should look like this...

3. Take your yarn and tie a bow or knot at the top of the bag. Trim the extra yarn. Then you're done!

This cotton candy is perfect for parties or a day at the fair. Yum!

Craft- How to make a Doll Jump rope

Today, I will be showing you how to make a doll jump rope! It is very simple and easy.

Materials:

  • Three different colors of yarn
  • 2 mini spools
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Water in a small cup (optional)

1. Cut three pieces of yarn. All of them should be 30 inches long.

2. Braid the yarn together.

3. Next, slip the yarn through the spool. Tip: If you are having trouble making the yarn go through, wet the ends of the yarn a little.

4. Once you have slipped the yarn through the spool, tie a knot on the end so your jump rope won't come undone. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other side of your jump rope.

And there you have it! A cute homemade doll jump rope! Your doll can take this to the park, or she can use it to exercise. Have fun!
